Kevin Jones is an Exercise Specialist and Health Educator with Alberta Health Services. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta and graduated in 2013. Kevin has been involved in various animal rescue organizations, and served on the first board of directors for the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society (GEARS) before working with CAAWLS. Kevin and his wife Chelsea began working with the Chimo project in 2011 and was on the inaugural board of directors at the switchover to CAAWLS in 2014. Kevin and his wife Chelsea have three rescue dogs, two of which are certified with CAAWLS; both one eyed mutts named Bear and Nickita. Bear has a regular volunteering appointment at Wings of providence, a second-stage women’s shelter for mothers and their children who have fled family violence.
